Migration Guide

Use our one-click migration to transfer your Writer Tools data to Fortelling.

With a single button tap, you're good to go again. We wanted to make the data transfer as easy as possible. However, we wanted to let you, the user, stay in control.

That's why you can migrate all your Writer Tools data to Fortelling from within the app. Follow the steps below to get started.

Your data from Writer Tools will remain available until the 31st of March, 2023.

This tool copies and does not modify the original data.

Step-by-step guide

1. Create a backup in Writer Tools

   • Make sure checkmarks show up.

2. Download Fortelling

   • Click here

3. Register with your email or use a social login

4. Create a new account

5. Open the migration tool

   • Fortelling home screen > menu icon top right > 'Writer Tools Migration'

6. Login with a Google account

   • Make sure this is your Writer Tools account

7. Select the project you want to transfer

8. Select the latest backup

9. Enjoy Fortelling 🎉
