As the developer of Writer Tools, it’s with a heavy heart that I announce that the app will be deprecated and replaced by a newer, more advanced version. An essential API from Google Play on which Writer Tools heavily depends will no longer be supported by the 31st of March, 2023. Writer Tools has been a labor of love for me, and I know it’s been an invaluable tool for many of our users. But sadly, it’s time for Writer Tools to make way for the future.

Introducing Fortelling, the next generation of novel plotting apps. Fortelling offers all the features that made Writer Tools great but with several exciting new additions. It has a sleek, modern design and is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to navigate.

But the real standout feature of Fortelling is its advanced new features. It offers real-time cloud synchronization, which Writer Tools could not provide. This means you can now collaborate on a book with your friends in one place. Fortelling is also available as a standalone web version.

As a developer, I’m incredibly proud of what we (the community and the developer) have achieved with Writer Tools. It’s the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, and I believe it will be a valuable tool for our users.

I understand it can be challenging to say goodbye to a beloved app, but I promise Fortelling is worth the transition. Give it a try and see for yourself the amazing things it can do.

What will happen with my data?

All online Writer Tools data will be erased from our servers in the course of April 2023. You will not be able to create a new backup or download a backup after 31-03-2023. The Fortelling migration tool will stop working after 31-03-2023.

Offline data (only your current project) will remain available; however, I do not guarantee the app will remain functional. Please migrate to Fortelling.

What will happen with my Writer Tools subscription?

All subscriptions will be canceled automatically on 31-03-2023. If you stop using Writer Tools before that time, please cancel your subscription manually.

How can I use the promo code? *

The code is only meant for users of Writer Tools. You can only use the code when subscribing to the Google Play Store when you never had a Fortelling Pro subscription with your current account.
